Engr Bunu Sheriff Musa, a minister under Gen Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida’s regime, has died.
Bunu has worked in different ministries, including Mines, Power, and Steel Development. He was also the former Nigerian ambassador to France.
At the age of 74, the former Minister passed away. Dr Bulama Mali Gubio, Secretary of the Borno Elders’ Forum, confirmed the sad news, calling it “devastating.”

Gubio said:
“His departure has caused us a great deal of grief. He was a decent individual. We were with him two days ago at Shehu of Borno’s palace, and there was no indication that his final days were approaching. Rajiun Innalillahi Wa’Inna Ilaihi.
“His death came soon after that of Alhaji Tijjani Bolori, another elder statesman.
Borno and Nigeria have suffered a great loss. May Allah accept their souls and grant them aljannah for the great deeds they performed.”
