Amadi was convicted seven months ago of attempting to influence the outcome of a match.
According to a statement released by the NFF, Remi Amadi admitted to attempting to influence the outcome or result of the match between Cofine FC and Bussdor FC, as evidenced by an audio conversation.
The NFF’s Disciplinary Committee had previously imposed a two-year suspension on the erring coach and a N500,000 fine on Cofine FC based on its numerous findings.
“The world body’s Disciplinary Committee conveyed this decision to the Nigeria Football Federation, and it is a result of a similar ban imposed on the gaffer by the NFF Disciplinary Committee at its meeting on August 16th 2021,” the statement read.
