Federal Government has announced Eid Holidays.
Ejes Gist Newspaper can authoritatively report that Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has announced four holidays for Eid celebrations.
The Eid al-Fitr vacation will run from May 2 to 5, according to the details.
Meanwhile, the government has stated that public sector employees would be paid their salaries before Eid-ul-Fitr, and a notification has been issued to that effect.
The Holy Month lasts 29 or 30 days depending on the sighting of the moon, and Eid al-Fitr commemorates the completion of Ramadan and millions of Muslims’ dawn-to-dusk fasting.
