Gbadebo, 68, died of an undisclosed illness.
She was Ijede Local Council Development Area’s first Executive Chairman (LCDA).
On Saturday, Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, APC Woman Leader of Lagos, paid a condolence visit to the family at Ijede in Ikorodu.
She said the deceased was loyal and dedicated to the party as a politician.
Gbadebo stood for unity and championed policies that favored the lives of APC members and the masses, Okoya-Thomas recalled.
“We have come to eulogize her. The family should follow in her footsteps and build on the legacy she has left behind. She was a committed democrat with a profound understanding of the political landscape of the community.
“She never relinquished any responsibility. We realized her efforts during the last election to ensure that APC candidates emerged as Lagos East Senatorial District winners,’ NAN quoted her as saying.
For her contributions to Ijede during her tenure as the chairman, Okoya-Thomas praised Gbadebo.
The chieftain prayed that God would grant eternal rest to the departed soul and grant the family the strength to bear her exit.
Fatiu Salisu, Chairman of Ijede LCDA, said the people of the area would miss Gbadebo, taking into account its developmental efforts.
