Father Mbaka Begs God To Touch Buhari’s Heart For Him To Release Nnamdi Kanu
In a viral video, Father Mbaka can be seen fervently praying for God to touch President Buhari’s heart and free Nnamdi Kanu.
According to reports, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria, AMEN, has again advocated for the release of detained Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu.
The release of Nnamdi Kanu, according to Father Mbaka, will put an end to the sit-at-home order in some parts of the southeast.
The divisive cleric also stated that he has been praying for God to change President Muhammadu Buhari’s heart toward Kanu for the better.
According to The Nation newspaper, residents in some parts of the south-east have complied with IPOB’s sit-at-home order for weeks, despite repeated declarations by governors in the region that people should disregard the directive.
During a sermon at Adoration Ground, the cleric in the now-viral video said Kanu should not remain in DSS custody indefinitely.
“No one has seen him (Kanu) for a long time, and whether we like it or not, he is the voice that will open and say something that the entire Igbo youths will say “Amen” to,” he said. We should all be preoccupied with Nnamdi Kanu’s release.
“Killing and killing our youths will not solve the problem.” No one will forgive you for killing his child. Instead of killing and killing, let them (the government) build more remand homes if possible.
“Whether we like it or not, the sun will eventually rise; it’s only a matter of time.”
