Lagos Police has ordered the arrest of a host ( Erelu Okin Foundation) in connection with fuel souvenirs.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, has ordered the arrest of the event’s ( Erelu Okin Foundation ) host in the state’s Oniru region.
Ejes Gist Newspaper recently reported that fuel was shared as souvenirs to attendees in kegs at the party which had attracted widespread criticism.
Adekunle Ajisebutu, the state’s police spokesman, confirmed this in a statement on Saturday.

The Lagos State Government sealed the Havillah Event Centre in Oniru, where fuel was used as a souvenir at a celebration, for breaking safety standards.
Officials from the Lagos Safety Commission and the Rapid Response Squad locked the event centre “for violating public safety rules.”
Gbenga Omotoso, spokesman for the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, said on Saturday that the state government would investigate the usage of petrol as a party souvenirs.
