The Yoruba Koya Leadership and Training Foundation, a pan-Yoruba social-cultural group, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari and the South-West governors to redouble efforts at ending insecurity within the area.

The group, in a June 12 “O To Ge Rally” (Enough is Enough Rally) tagged: “Safety and Security in Yoruba Land”, held in Lagos to commemorate June 12 because the Nigeria’s Democracy Day on Wednesday, demanded safety of lives and property.

According to them, there is want to finish incessant kidnapping, killings and destruction of farmlands by suspected herdsmen in Yorubaland.

Speaking on the rally, Otunba Deji Osibogun, the National Convener of the group, famous the Federal Government in addition to the South-West governors should stand up to safety challenges dealing with the area.

Adeleye, who decried circumstances of killings of harmless Yoruba people by hoodlums masquerading as herdsmen, stated the group considered expressing its grievances on June 12 being a historic day.
