Engr. Vincent Urhie has emerged as the House of Assembly candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Uvwie constituency, Delta State ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Engr. Vincent Urhie got 138 votes out of the accredited 327 delegates.
Reacting to the victory Prince Christopher Agaga lauded the delegates for their patience and understanding and urged them not to relent in their effort in ensuring that APC wins subsequent elections in the State.
He maintained that the party was poised to strengthen democracy and make life better for all and sundry in the country through the provision of basic amenities, infrastructural development and creating enabling environment for promotion of commerce and industry.
Engr. Vincent Urhie in his acknowledgment speech, expressed gratitude toward party leaders and members for trusting him with their votes and sought for their help for him to prevail in the general elections.
He promised the people of Uvwie constituency better representation if elected into the House.
He went futher to say ” we require quality representation. We require somebody who will speak to the general population’s advantage and not individualistic intrigue. When I get to the House of Assembly, our essential needs in this constituency will be altogether tended to.
Engr. Vincent Urhie also expressed excitement over the emergence of Senator Omo-Agege as the candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC for Delta Central Senatorial seat for next year’s election.
