Role Overview

  • Under the supervision of the Principal Officer, Administration, HR and Finance, the incumbent  shall present assist to the fleet administration & transport of the workplace with on a regular basis operations in ensuring of the sleek operating of the assigned automobiles.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Perform the each day preventive upkeep checks earlier than transferring a selected car for the primary time within the day;
  • Perform airport departure and arrival formalities when required;
  • Monitor consumption of gas and lubricants by automobiles to make sure their environment friendly use;
  • Initiate well timed requests for gas replenishments;
  • Maintain correct document of gas/lubricant utilization for planning and audit functions;
  • Ensure correct completion of car log books by drivers;
  • Carry out some other duties that could be assigned.

Academic Qualifications and Experience

  • West African School Certificate or equal certificates with a proper driver coaching certificates and a sound driver’s license/ certification to function assigned car.
  • 2 years’ expertise as a driver, ideally for a world organization involving a spread of makes and fashions of automobiles;
  • Working information of  visitors guidelines and laws, and talent to learn and interpret visitors indicators and  paperwork reminiscent of security guidelines, and working and upkeep directions;
  • Experience in sustaining a car log e book;
  • Knowledge of defensive driving practices, chauffeur protocol and courtesies, native roads and circumstances, and protocols of relevance to security and security of passengers throughout inclement climate, terrorism occasions, motor accidents, legal and violent incidents;
  • Knowledge of primary car upkeep (e.g. circle verify) and talent to evaluate automobiles for mechanical health and minor car repairs.

Eligible Candidates:

  • Nationals of Ghana or different ECOWAS member-states resident in Ghana.

Age Limit:

  • Be beneath 50 years old. This provision doesn’t apply to inner candidates.
