Forex turnover is $377.88 million, according to data from FMDQ.

Meanwhile, the Debt Management Office (DMO) confirmed on Tuesday that Nigeria’s public debt has increased to 38.005 trillion dollars, or $92.626 billion dollars.

The figure represents the nation’s public debt profile by the end of the third quarter of 2021, according to a statement on the DMO’s website.

Between June 30 and September 30, 2021, the total debt stock increased by 2.540 trillion dollars.

The figures include the Federal Government of Nigeria’s total external and domestic debts, as well as the debts of 36 state governments and the Federal Capital Territory.

“In line with its practice, the Debt Management Office has published Nigeria’s Total Public Debt as at September 30, 2021,” according to the statement titled “DMO publishes total public debt for Q3 2021.”

Nigeria’s Public Debt was 38.005 trillion dollars or $92.626 billion dollars at the end of Q3 2021, according to data from the Federal Government of Nigeria, 36 State Governments, and the Federal Capital Territory.

The price of crude oil

The West Texas Intermediate crude oil price fell 1.27 percent to $69.83 per barrel. Natural gas rose 1.33 percent to $3,797 per thousand cubic feet, while the OPEC Basket fell 1.41 percent to $74.03 per barrel.

Nigerian crude Bonny Light, on the other hand, increased by 1.30 percent to $73.51 per barrel.
