Did Chiamaka Okoro get Pregnant in DSS Custody? Here’s what we know


According to a recent report that has since gone viral on social media, Chiamaka Okoro, 16, who was detained by the in Imo state earlier this year, became pregnant while under its care.

Here is what was learned after conducting an investigation to confirm the authenticity of this story in the interest of truth and accountability.

On July 15, the Facebook group “Anyi Kings,” which is connected to the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, posted an article with the headline “four months in DSS Chiamaka Okoro now pregnant in Owerri DSS dungeon.”

Her name is Chidera Amaefula, and she is a 15-year-old adolescent from the Imo state local government area of Atta Umunnam Njaba.

She and six other young girls, Oluebube Uzoma, Chidinma Oba, Favour Azubike, Chiamaka Okoro, and Mmesoma Ezike, continue to be held prisoner and sexually assaulted in the DSS for more than four months at this point.

It has been established that one of the girls, Chiamaka Okoro, is now pregnant according to a disturbing revelation from a DSS prison in Imo state that these young females were used as sex slaves.

Additionally, a report on the same story was released by a news website (not Ejes gist Newspaper). According to a disturbing allegation from the DSS Dungeon in Imo State, these young girls have been used as sex slaves by the Fulani-controlled DSS in Imo State.

As a result of these uncircumcised individuals using them and abusing them sexually on a daily basis while leaving them defenseless, a report that one of the girls, Chiamaka Okoro, is currently pregnant inside the DSS Dungeon in Owerri, Imo state, has been substantiated.


On March 14, 2022, DSS agents carried out a raid on a hideout believed to be occupied by members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), a paramilitary group affiliated with IPOB. Chiamaka Okoro was one of the suspects they detained.

Since then, she has been in custody.

According to a medical report seen by newsmen, Chiamaka Okoro was 27 weeks and 6 days pregnant as of July 22nd, the date a scan was performed by a medical facility called Medicare Manus in Owerri.


“Now that you’ve seen the pregnancy test results, you know the suspect was twenty-seven weeks and six days along on July 22, 2022. According to the scan results you just saw, her expected due date (EDD) is actually October 15th,” a source who sought anonymity told our correspondent.

Note that she was apprehended on March 14, 2022, after a significant operation in the Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State. The administration instructed the ministry of health to investigate the issue after reading online propaganda that attacked the secret service, the insider claimed.

DSS’s Comment On Chiamaka Okoro Pregnancy

Additionally, Peter Afunanya, the DSS spokesperson, refuted claims that the girl was impregnated by DSS agents.

“Our workforce is highly professional and disciplined, therefore they cannot participate in such an act, especially given the implications,” he stated.

It is clear that the Claim that Okoro became pregnant while in DSS custody is false based on the medical report and the DSS spokesperson’s denial.
