The good news now is that the Delta Government has directed primary six pupils to resume school on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Delta State Commissioner for Basic, Secondary Education , Mr. Patrick Ukah. He said the choice of reopening
of schools within the state was reached after a comprehensive meeting with relevant stakeholders.

Speaking at the Stakeholders meeting, Ukah called on primary school heads to make sure that all COVID-19 protocols as stated by the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC are strictly adhered to, to avoid the spread of the disease among teachers and pupils.

The pupils are to immediately commence revisions for their cognitive placement examination scheduled to kick off Saturday, September 26, 2020.
