In lieu of the Osun 2022 polls, Governor Gboyega Oyetola has been attacked by Davido, the nephew of the Governor Elect Ademola Adeleke

David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has called Governor Gboyega Oyetola a “bad human being”, Ejes Gist Newspaper reports.

Davido made this statement in response to news that his uncle, the victor of the governorship race in Osun State, had acknowledged that there had been over-voting in his response to the case challenging his election victory that was still pending before the Election Petition Tribunal.

Adeleke had disputed the rumours spreading on social media in a statement on Sunday, adding that his defence was being misrepresented.

Rasheed Olawale, a spokesman for the governor-elect, said Adeleke in his defence submitted to the Tribunal dismissed Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s claim of over-voting in 750 polling places, highlighting the fact that the over-voting was caused by the incomplete data of BVAS based on the unsynchronized BVAS report that was used by the petitioners.

“You are actually just a bad human being @GboyegaOyetola, spreading lies everywhere destroying your legacy,” he wrote in a tweet (not like you even have).

“@inecnigeria, it is done and dusted.” Is it possible to vote too many times on your new BVAS machine, Abeg? We move on November 27.
