Dave Chappelle, an American stand-up comedian and actor, was attacked on stage during a performance in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, the comedian was at the Hollywood Bowl, where video clips circulating on social media showed someone colliding with him.
After returning to the stage at the Netflix joke festival, more videos showed Chappelle visibly unharmed.
When Chappelle’s Netflix special was dubbed transphobic in 2021, he faced a barrage of criticism.
According to reports, after taking the stage on Tuesday, the comedian joked, “It was a trans man” who attacked him.
After the incident, Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx was among those who rushed to the stage to assist.
