Crush all bandits now – Buhari again orders military
Buhari has ordered the military to crush all bandits right now.
President Muhammadu Buhari has denounced the repeated attacks and deaths carried out by bandits in Zamfara, Kaduna, and other northern states.
In a statement signed by Garba Shehu, the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, the military was asked to crush the offenders.
Buhari wants the military to communicate with the robbers in their own language.
The President stated that the country’s security agencies are currently developing new procedures and policies that are yielding positive outcomes in many of the country’s difficult areas.

The President chastised lawmakers who, in his opinion, are only seeking acclaim with their security remarks.
Buhari urged politicians to join the current sincere efforts aimed at finding long-term solutions to the country’s security concerns.
He expressed regret for the lives lost and urged security forces to do all possible to prevent such attacks from being carried out with impunity.
Some lawmakers, including Olusegun Bamgbose, have given Buhari seven days to ensure the return of the 348 students kidnapped by terrorists.
If the Buhari government fails to release the students within the next week, Bamgbose stated he will do all humanly necessary to ensure their release.
He promised that his gang will do all it takes to reassure the parents that their children would soon be free.
Shehu Sani reacts as bandits kill 40 people in Zamfara
Former Senator Shehu Sani has termed the reported killings of over 40 individuals in Zamfara State as yet another tragedy.
Sani, who responded to the incident on his own Facebook page, also encouraged the federal government to go above and beyond its present efforts to tackle “monsters.”
“Another tragedy is the reported killing of roughly 40 persons in Zamfara by bandits.
“This is what the North West has become.
Beyond its current efforts, the FG must confront these monsters and rise to the occasion.
He wrote on Twitter, “We can’t win this battle unless we deploy enough drone technology to detect, monitor, and hack down these crooks and mass murders.”
