Ahead of the 2023 General Elections, Labour Party (LP) disowns Peter Obi, Labour party presidential candidate Campaign Director

The Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organization’s Imo state coordinator, Mr. Fabian Ihekweme, has been disowned by the Labour Party’s national leadership.

This was stated in a statement made accessible to newsmen on Sunday in Abuja.

In the statement, which bears Abayomi Arabambi’s signature as the party’s publicity secretary, Ihekweme was charged with “Fraud and Conspiracy.”

“Our attention has once more been brought to a very clear act of fraudulent activities of one Fabian Ihekweme, the illegal Imo State Chairman of Peter Obi/Datti presidential campaign council through a committed, deliberate, and conscious mission to run Labour Party into a complicated set of sectoral and serial fraud through obtaining money under false pretence with the sole objective of compromising Labour party victory in the 2023 general election,” the statement reads.

This is yet another example of Fabian Ihekweme’s odd and spiteful behaviour in his ongoing effort to deceive the public by collecting money through fraudulent means from unwary members of the public.

“If silence weren’t assumed to constitute permission in all its ramifications, his aggressive and very disdainful press statement sent to media organisations would have been ignored with its puerile contents.”

By incorrectly asserting that a candidate is free to independently form a campaign team, free from the political party that presented him as a candidate, Fabian, in his extremely pitiful and totally arrogant, ignorant, and pedestrian understanding of the constitution, failed in his attempt to bring the party to some silly ridicule.

“This, along with several other crude slurs motivated by ignorance, were stated in his so abominably anti-Party misbehaviour of the state.

He continued to threaten the party leadership after saying the aforementioned without even pausing.

Barr Julius Abure, the national chairman of the Labour Party, has further stated that any further intentional or criminally motivated violations committed by an individual or group of individuals that jeopardize the reputation of the Party and its members must be reported to the Inspector General of Police.
