The Federal High Court has issued a final decision on the suit challenging Atiku Abubakar’s citizenship..
A suit challenging Nigerian former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s citizenship has been dismissed by a Federal High Court in Abuja.
The plaintiff, the Incorporated Trustees of Egalitarian Mission for Africa, argued that Atiku is not a Nigerian by birth and thus ineligible to run for president of the country.
In a ruling handed down on Monday, Justice Inyang Ekwo ruled that the plaintiff lacked the legal standing to file the lawsuit.
Justice Ekwo then dismissed the case with the filing number FHC/ABJ/CS/177/2019.
