Federal High Court has ordered the arrest of Diezani Allison-Madueke.
The Federal High Court in Abuja has issued an arrest warrant for Diezani Alison-Madueke, the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, in the United Kingdom.

After hearing an oral application from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s counsel, Farouk Abdullah, Justice Bolaji Olajuwon issued the order.
Mr Abdullah told the court that the agency’s efforts to extradite the former minister back to the country had failed.

The warrant, he said, would allow the EFCC to persuade the International Police (INTERPOL) to arrest Mrs Alison-Madueke and assist the Attorney-Office General’s in facilitating her extradition.
Justice Olajuwon granted it as requested and adjourned the case sine die (indefinitely) pending the Defendant’s arrest and extradition.
