Position Purpose
We are in search of a Consumer & Trade Activation Supervisor to be chargeable for the assigned markets/tasks to:

  • Participate pro-actively in Brand administration & New Product Development initiatives
  • Develop and implement efficient branded Consumer & Trade applications centered on attaining SOM targets in addition to different KPIs
  • Ensure well timed and correct admin help (price range planning & management, reporting) to the West Africa organization

The incumbent will report on to the Marketing Director West Africa and transversally to the Marketing Manager West Africa.

Main Areas of Responsibility
Brand Management:

  • Contribute actively to the New Product Development briefing, involving shut collaboration with R&D and Global Supply Chain departments to make sure well timed improvement
  • Assist the Marketing Manager West Africa in growing Strategies and plans for the assigned manufacturers
  • Support the Marketing Manager in stewardship of the biggest native model
  • Liaise intently with Legal and Corporate Affairs groups to make sure that all Marketing & Trade applications and initiatives are compliant with JTI Global Marketing Standards and the Markets regulation.

Branded Consumer Activation & Communication:

  • Develop client applications for the assigned markets and coordinate their well timed implementation:
  • Create and handle client promotional initiatives inside model pointers  
  • Plan and develop client actions throughout all channels and contact factors
  • Measure performance and suggest corrective actions

Branded Trade Activation & Communication:

  • Develop branded Trade actions influencing consciousness and fairness for the assigned markets and coordinate their well timed implementation:
  • Trade and channel prioritization
  • Category, shelf, merchandising, POPM
  • Branded commerce promotional initiatives
  • Measure performance and suggest corrective actions for the branded Initiatives
  • Brand KPI’s: Numerical Distribution, Weighted Distribution
  • Portfolio prioritization

Budget Planning & Control:

  • Manage a number of advertising companies and worldwide suppliers on a well timed and value efficient method, guaranteeing compliance with JTI requirements when it comes to buy & cost procedures
  • Manage the Purchase requisition course of, from well timed & correct preparation of the requisition to affirmation of the cost to the seller, guaranteeing correct documentation as per JTI requirements

    • Any different forms of duties as they come up and upon supervisor’s request

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • University degree or equal
  • Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office instruments & understanding of SAP application is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ expertise in Sales, Marketing or Administration, ideally inside an FMCG surroundings.
  • Excellent information of the English language
