Moghalu says Buhari may not hand over in 2023, gives reason
A presidential candidate for the 2023 election, Kingsley Moghalu, stated on Friday that President Muhammadu Buhari might not hand over to a possible successor “if this probable mix of security and economic collapse persists.”
Moghalu bemoaned that Terrorist are quickly gaining strength and a moment may come when there will be hand-to-hand conflict between the terrorists and citizens protecting themselves.

Nigeria could become extinct by 2023, according to the former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Every time there is an election in Nigeria, it always seems like the sky would fall. But given the level of instability (terrorists are obviously getting closer to the federal capital! ), the government’s apparent inability (or, according to some opponents, unwillingness) to stop them, and the collapsing economy, 2023 has a distinct vibe.
Moghalu made this statement through his verified Twitter account.
“We face existential risk if this potential security and economic crisis persist, and a democratic transition in 2023 may not take place.
There may come a day when terrorists and citizens protecting themselves will engage in hand-to-hand battle. God forbid!
“I’m concerned and angry about where Nigeria has gotten to. While this is going on, we act normal.
