has appointed a special assistant

has been appointed as President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant for Digital Communications.

Ahmad served as the new media advisor to President Muhammadu. He had resigned in order to represent a Kano State federal constituency.

Ahmad lost to incumbent Abdullahi Mahmood Gaya of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who represents the Gaya, Ajingi, Albasu Federal Constituency, in May.

Gaya received 109 votes, while the 31-year-old received a pitiful 16 votes.

In response to his new position, Ahmad thanked the president and vowed to keep up his role as “a good ambassador of your administration.”

“Alhamdulillah! This is a privilege. Thank you, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Baba Muhammadu Buhari, for continuing to think highly of me and appointing me this time as your Special Assistant on Digital Communications. I’ll keep doing my best to represent your administration, Baba,” he promised in a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday.
