Is Buhari Govt Working For Fulanis To Take Over Nigeria.
When Fulanis from 14 countries gathered in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, Ortom said he alerted Nigerians.
Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, claims that the state’s constant killings demonstrate that Nigeria lacks a government. He bemoaned the fact that over 70 people had been murdered in the Makurdi Local Government Area in just two weeks.
On Tuesday, Ortom addressed protesters at the Abagena village Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp. Citizens were killed and many others were injured by suspected herdsmen on Monday night.
“To me, what is going on now is crystal clear; Mr President is simply working for the Fulanis to take over the entire country.”
He claimed that what is being played out is Buhari’s body language and that the President’s actions and inaction “shows that he is only the President of Fulani people.” Ortom bemoaned the fact that attackers routinely drive indigenous people away from their homes, only to kill them where they seek refuge. Ortom referred to them as “Fulani herders,” emphasising that “they are not bandits.”
They are Fulanis, Fulanis, Fulanis, Fulanis, Ful We were able to see and hear them converse in the language.” According to the Benue governor, the federal government has been dragging their feet on the issue.
“We would not be where we are today if the federal government had taken proactive measures. Over 70 people have been killed in the Makurdi Local Government Area alone in the last two weeks.”
According to Ortom, similar killings are taking place in Guma and Gwer-West. When Fulanis from 14 countries gathered in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, Ortom said he alerted Nigerians. They announced that “Benue would not know peace” unless the law prohibiting open grazing was reviewed, he said.
The governor questioned why the leaders of Miyetti Allah, which organised the conference, had not yet been arrested by the federal government.
He proclaimed, “It means we don’t have a country.” “Mr President, you must take action, and I propose that a security summit be convened immediately. I’m aware that the problem exists in other areas of the country.”
The kidnapping of three students from the Federal University of Agriculture in Makurdi was also reported by the police command in Benue State on Monday.
