After being selected as a visiting professor of Corporate and International Linkages, Senator Ike Ekweremadu was ousted by the University of Lincoln in the United Kingdom.
This comes after British police detained the Nigerian lawmaker and his wife Beatrice for allegedly plotting to remove one Ukpo Nwamini David’s kidney, who claims to be 15 years old.
Ekweremadu’s responsibilities at the university have been temporarily suspended, according to a statement made by the university, according to a report in the London Mail yesterday.
The spokesperson for the university stated;
“Visiting professors are frequently non-residents at the university, unpaid, and advisory, as is the case in this instance.

The allegations’ nature deeply worries us, but we are unable to comment further at this time because a police investigation is ongoing.
“This person will not be performing any duties as a visiting professor at Lincoln while this matter is under investigation.”
