Unknown gunmen Abduct Pastor’s Wife, teenage daughters.
A woman and two of her daughters were kidnapped in Abuja by gunmen suspected of being kidnappers.
The victims, a 41-year-old woman named Mrs Oladapo and her two teenage daughters, Moyo Oladapo, 17, and Glory Oladapo, 14, were reported abducted at 1:04 a.m. on Sunday, September 5.
The kidnapping is said to have occurred in the Pegi community of Abuja’s Kuje area council.
Pastor Gabriel Oladapo’s wife and children were among the victims, and the pastor was away from Abuja when the kidnappers struck.
The kidnappers, wielding AK-47 rifles, scaled the fence of the victims’ house at a resettlement area in Zone A, and forced the doors open, according to a resident simply identified as Abednego.
Mr Taiwo Aderibigbe, chairman of Pegi Community Development Association (PECDA), confirmed the abduction of the woman and her daughters and condemned the area’s constant kidnappings, urging security agencies to come to the residents’ aid.
Pegi, Kuje, is being targeted by kidnappers, and security agencies are doing nothing to stop it, according to the PECDA chairman.
The FCT Police Command’s spokesperson, ASP Daniel Y Ndipraya, confirmed the incident and said that an investigation is underway and that all efforts are being made to save the victims.
