Professor Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, has been reappointed by President Muhammadu Buhari, among others.
President Muhammadu Buhari has reappointed Professor Ishaq Oloyede as the Registrar/Chief Executive of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
Ben Bem Goong, Director, Press and Public Affairs, Federal Ministry of Education, announced Oloyede’s reappointment.
Goong’s reappointment was based on Minister of Education Adamu Adamu’s recommendation, according to a statement he signed.
Buhari also approved Prof Abubakar Rasheed’s reappointment as Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC) for another five years and Hamid Bobboyi’s reappointment as Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) for a second four-year term, according to the statement.
Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe was reappointed as Registrar/CEO of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) for a second four-year term, and Prof. Promise Mebine was reappointed as Director/Chief Executive of the National Mathematical Centre for a five-year term.
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the reappointment of Prof. Ishaq Olanrewaju Oloyede, Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), and Prof. Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), on the recommendation of Education Minister Adamu Adamu.
“The two appointments are for five (5) years each, beginning on August 1, 2021.
“Dr. Hamid Bobboyi has also been reappointed as Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) for a second and final four-year term beginning August 1, 2021.
“It will be recalled that Mr. President had previously approved Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-reappointment Abanihe’s as Registrar/CEO of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) for a second four-year term to continue the efforts at sensitising Nigerians on the critical role of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and business subjects in the new knowledge economy.
“Application was also granted for the appointment of Prof. Promise Mebine as the Director/Chief Executive of the National Mathematical Centre for an initial tenure of five (5) years with effect from August 17, 2021, to give further impetus to mathematics education.
