NIMC Staff Suspend Industrial Action
On Thursday, employees of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) suspended the industrial action they embarked on over inadequate allowances and fear of exposure to COVID-19 spread across the organisation.

But after a meeting with the Federal Government, they have now decided to put the strike on hold, where it was agreed that the workers’ demands would be answered.

Asekokhai Fortunate, President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, NIMC unit, confirmed the suspension of the industrial action, saying that commission staff across the country will be contacted by Monday to resume work and begin to register Nigerians for their national identification numbers.
