NFF sacks Super Eagles technical crew
Following the senior national team’s failure to qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has fired the entire technical staff of the Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw by the Ghanaian Black Stars on Tuesday at the MKO National Stadium in Abuja, with the visitors advancing on the away-goal rule.

“In the meantime, the NFF has withdrawn the two-and-a-half-year contract offered to the coaches and terminated the appointment of the entire technical crew of the team with immediate effect,” the statement reads.
“After a thorough review, a new crew will be named to lead the charge of reviving the Super Eagles and preparing them for future challenges.”
“We appreciate the coaches and team officials’ contributions to the country and wish them well in their future endeavours.”
