Breaking: Mass Jubilation As Court restrains AGF, DSS from arresting Igboho, blocking accounts

The Oyo High Court’s Justice Ladiean Akintola has granted an ex-parte motion prohibiting the Department of State Security (DSS) and the Attorney General of the Federation from arresting, intimidating, harassing, or blocking Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka ’s bank accounts.

The order was granted after his lawyer, Chief Yomi Aliu (SAN), filed an ex-parte motion in court on Wednesday.

The motion arose from an initial motion seeking N500 billion in damages for the July 1 invasion of his home in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Aliu expressed confidence in AGF Abubakar Malami (SAN), stressing that the court order was issued directly against his office.

The case’s hearing has been rescheduled for August 18.
