Bandits kidnapped students from a secondary school in Zamfara’s Maradun Local Government Area.
The incident’s details are still sketchy, but armed men are said to have entered the school early Wednesday morning.

The armed men stormed the school around 11:30 a.m., when the students were writing exams, according to a resident of the neighbourhood.
“They barricaded the doors to the classrooms and demanded that the students exit.”

“Some of the students were able to flee the attack by jumping out of classroom windows and hiding in nearby sorghum plantations,” the resident said.
Although the exact number of students kidnapped is unknown at the time of filing this report, But abducted female students outnumber abducted male students.
The news comes just days after some students kidnapped in the state were released.
