House of Assembly Speaker has Dumped APC for PDP.
The Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Aminu Muhammad Achida, dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday (PDP).

According to reports, Achida handed in his resignation letter during today’s sitting.
Following his decision, the legislator praised Governor Aminu Tambuwal, calling him a “true democrat” for his role in his switch.
