Major General Ben Ahanotu, the current army’s Chief of Policy and Plan, is one of the senior military officers from Regular Course 35. Despite being from Anambra State, he is a native Hausa speaker.

Major General A.M. Aliyu of Regular Course 36, the army’s Chief of Administration, hails from Gombe State.
