Ex-APC National Scribe, Akpanudoedehe dumps party

Senator John , national secretary of the now-defunct Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee CECPC of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, resigned from the party just hours before its special convention and presidential primary poll.

The letter with the heading “Resignation of my membership in the All Progressives Congress” reads:

“I am writing to inform you of my immediate resignation from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“Effective immediately, I am no longer a member of the APC in my ward (ward 6 in Uyo LGA) or anywhere else.

I therefore relinquish all rights that accrued to me as an APC member, National Advisory Council member, and APC National Caucus member.

“This decision to leave the APC is a difficult one, but leadership requires adherence to the wishes of the vast majority of associates, allies, and supporters who have shown fidelity over time and have witnessed the obstinacy of the APC in handling the Candidates Selection processes in Akwa Ibom State.
