The awards, which will be presented on November 17, 2022, at London’s Bloomsbury Big Top, honour people for their accomplishments as trailblazers, inventors, and business owners.
With strong ties to Lagos’ music scene and experience producing Grammy-winning albums (such as her son’s breakthrough album “African Giant” in 2019 and “Twice As Tall” in 2020), as well as this year’s UK #2 most recent release, “Love, Damini,” which includes the massive hit single “LastLast,” which recently hit 300 million global streams while “For My Hand,” featuring British singer Ed Sheeran, hit 150 million global streams, “Everyone at the MMF would like to congratulate Bose on her award for Manager of the Year, and we look forward to celebrating with her on November 17,” MMF Chief Executive Annabella Coldrick stated.
Burna Boy has clearly become a truly global star thanks to Bose’s boundary-pushing and artist-led business strategy, and Spaceship Collective’s empowerment-centered ethos best captures her beneficial influence on a new generation of artists.
We felt it was vital to acknowledge the accomplishment of such a well-known, ground-breaking manager since it is an African success story with a significant foot in the UK.
