Bolu Akin-Olugbade, a billionaire businessman, died of complications caused by COVID-19.
The socialite died at an isolation hospital in Lagos on Wednesday, according to family sources.

He was born on April 2, 1956, to the family of the late Babatunde Akin-Olugbade, a wealthy businessman and Balogun of Owu.
The traditional title of the Aare ona- kankanfo of the Owu kingdom is held by Bolu.
He was a lawyer and his business interests included the acquisition of land, construction, processing, logistics, distribution, maritime and offshore services, and investment banking.
He attended Corona School, King’s College, the University of Lagos and London.
Akin-Olugbade received his master’s degree in law from the University of California and his doctoral degree in corporate law from the University of Cambridge.
