Bola Tinubu has Named Kabiru Masari As his Running Mate.
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced Kabiru Masari as his running mate for the 2023 elections.

This was stated by Kabiru Faskari, a senior member of the party, during an interview on “Channels Television” “Politics Today” on Friday.
In contrast to the demand for a Muslim/Christian APC ticket, he explained that choosing Kabiru, a Katsina State native, does not violate the country’s laws.

The APC’s decision came after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) set a deadline for presidential candidates to submit their running mates’ names.
The names had to be submitted by Friday, June 17th, according to INEC.
