At the inauguration of Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo as governor of Anambra on Thursday, drama ensued when , the wife of outgoing Governor Willie Obiano, slapped .

The full video of the dirty fight between Ebelechukwu Obiano, the former First Lady of Anambra, and Bianca Ojukwu, wife of the late Igbo leader, , has been obtained by Ejes Gist Newspaper.

Mrs. Obiano allegedly slapped Bianca during Professor Charles Soludo’s inauguration as Governor of Anambra State.

 

Everyone present at the ceremony was taken aback by the incident, which occurred shortly after Soludo took his oath of office. Mrs. slapped the widow of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu in the face when she stepped out and moved to the front row.

Obiano Ebelechukwu was later then away, and her husband, Willie Obiano, left the venue shortly after the incident.

Meanwhile,  governor Charles has apologised to all Anambra people, friends, and guests for the breach of protocol, according to a statement issued on his behalf by Joe C. Anatune, Head, Soludo Media.

 

Despite the fact that he did not mention Ojukwu’s widow or Obiano’s wife by name, it was clear that he was referring to them.

 

According to him, the breach was caused by sloppy communication stemming from a personal issue “between the two parties involved in the breach.

Steps are being taken to resolve the misunderstanding and restore the parties’ prior relationship,” Soludo said.
