Biafra IPOB  Sit-at-home has turned bloody in Delta State, one confirmed Dead, Dangote trucks set on fire.

Ejes Gist Newspaper reports that  On Wednesday, suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) invaded Ugbolu community and environs in Delta State, killing one person.

Two Dangote trucks, a commercial motorcycle, and an Audi Volkswagen car were also targeted.

At Mile 5, a suspected militant group reportedly blocked the Ugbolu/Illah road, shooting at random.

Someone was shot dead at the process, according to the news.

According to a source, local residents and motorists fled into the bush to avoid being hit by stray bullets.

He said he saw people fleeing for safety as the shooting raged while driving to work at 7.30 a.m.

Security personnel, including soldiers and police, have been deployed to the area to restore peace and order, according to him.

DSP Bright Edafe, the Delta Police Public Relations Officer, said he was unaware of the incident and did not have any details, but that no one was killed.
