Owelle Rochas Okorocha, the former governor of Imo State, has revealed why members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have become terrorists.

According to Okorocha, a presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), IPOB became a terrorist group because the government failed to handle it properly.
Yesterday, the former governor of Imo State spoke to journalists at the State House.
According to Okorocha: “There was no need to have handled the IPOB matter the way it was handled. Today they have turned out to be terrorists.

“But for me, I don’t see them as terrorists. I see them as children who have not been properly educated on the happenings.”
IPOB members have been campaigning in the Southeast for Biafra’s actualization.
Nnamdi Kanu, the group’s leader, was arrested as a result of their agitation.
Kanu is facing terrorism charges in the Federal High Court of Abuja.
