The Nigeria Police Force vowed to track down dog owners who pay women to sleep with their pets.
Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, made the announcement to journalists on Thursday morning.
When the dog owners are apprehended, he claims they will be punished and prosecuted.
Security agents, he added, will not back down until ladies seen having sex with dogs in viral TikTok videos are apprehended.
Men who engage in bestial acts will not be spared, according to the FPRO, who also stated that posting such videos online will not be tolerated.
“We will extend our search, investigation, and punishment to the owners of dogs caught in the act of having sexual intercourse with ladies or being used for similar offences,” Adejobi said.
“They have questions to answer as well.” The crime is punishable by law, and thus it is condemned. We will apprehend the lady and others like her, as well as the men, who were involved in this criminal and barbaric act as soon as possible.”
The video was allegedly shot in Nigeria, and many people were perplexed as to why a dog owner would pay a woman seven figures to sleep with his pet.
According to lawyers, sleeping with an animal is illegal under the Criminal Code Act and the Penal Code Act, and it is punishable by up to 14 years in prison in Nigeria.
