Bashir Abdullahi, a retired general manager of the Nigerian Port Authority, has been kidnapped, Ejes Gist News can authoritatively report.
Abdullahi was kidnapped on Wednesday afternoon from his farm in Kano State’s Sumaila Local Area.
Details about the abduction of the retired NPA GM are still sketchy at the time of this report, but Ejes Gist News gathered that he was taken away by unknown gunmen while inspecting his farm in Sitti village of Sumaila Local Government Area of Kano.

“The retired General Manager of NPA was kidnapped this afternoon from his farm in Sitti, Sumaila Local Government Area,” a source who did not want to be recognised claimed. Please pray for his safety and for him to be reunited with his family.
‘In addition, please ask the congregation of your local Masjid to pray for him through the Imam.”
When contacted, DSP Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa, a spokeswoman for the Kano Police Command, claimed he was unaware of the event but vowed to look into it as soon as possible.
