Popular Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha, arrested for defiling minor.

Olarenwaju James alias Baba Ijesha, a 48-year-old Nollywood star, has been arrested for defiling a minor by the Lagos State Police Command.
Princess Adekola Adekanya registered the case of defilement at Sabo Police Station on April 19, 2021, and it was referred to the Gender Unit of the State CID, Panti, Yaba Lagos, for proper investigation.

According to preliminary reports, the perpetrator began sexually harassing the victim when she was 7 years old, 14 years ago. The perpetrator confessed to the crime and was caught on tape by a CCTV camera in the complainant’s home.
CP Hakeem Odumosu, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, has ordered a thorough investigation and vowed to carry out justice in the case.
Some twitter users have, however, doubted that the actor engaged in such act.
