Police Deploy Helicopters To Imo After Attacks

Following a series of gunman attacks in Imo State, the Nigeria Police Force has dispatched helicopters to provide surveillance.

Remember the gunmen assaulted the country home of the state governor, Hope Uzodinma, on Saturday.

After security operatives killed Ikonso, the second commander of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, the Governor’s residence was targeted.

According to reports, the helicopters sent to the state flew at a very low altitude.

The people, on the other hand, are concerned about the helicopters’ height.

The helicopters were flying over the Owerri airspace and its environs all weekend and Monday.

In other news, five soldiers have been confirmed killed in new gunman attacks on security formations in Rivers State.

On Monday morning, gunmen attacked the camp in Abua, in the Abua/Odual Local Government Area.
