Ifeanyi Okowa is Atiku Abubakar running mate
According to our sources, Atiku’s supporters are focusing on Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for the vice presidential position.
According to an authoritative source who spoke on the condition of anonymity to Ejes Gist Newspaper, Okowa may be unveiled as Atiku’s running mate in the near future, barring a last-minute change.
During the PDP’s convention last May, Okowa played a key role in Atiku’s election as the party’s presidential candidate.
This gave the Delta State governor an advantage in terms of being recognized and tipped for the job.
“Okowa mobilized resources for us during the primary,” a source said. Even though others argue for (Nyesom) Wike and (Emmanuel) Udom, he is the preferred candidate.”
