Buhari finally approves N208bn to upgrade Nigerian universities

President Muhammadu Buhari has authorized N208billion for the upgrade of Nigerian universities.

This was disclosed by the President’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Ahmad Bashir, through his Twitter deal with.

“President @MBuhari approves N208 billion to upgrade Nigerian universities’ infrastructure.

“And the good news made ASUU trending again tonight, interesting,” he tweeted.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) had not too long ago known as on Nigerians to pressurise the Federal Government to honour their settlement to forestall contemporary strike.

The union’s President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi had made the decision in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria.
