Arthur Nzeribe, longest serving Senator dies at 83 ( Photo)


Senator Arthur Nzeribe, a controversial politician, has reportedly died.

The incident was confirmed by a family source who requested anonymity.

For a while, Nzeribe has been on life support.

Imo West was represented in the National Assembly by Nzeribe, a First Republic politician.

The longest serving Senator from Imo has been ill for some time.


On November 2, 1938, he was born. Died on May 8, 2022 at  83 years

Nzeribe became a major player in the country’s financial sector at the age of 22.

Providence smiled on him, and he rose to become one of Nigeria’s most powerful and influential politicians.

He was Senator for the Orlu Senatorial constituency in Imo State from October 1983 to December 1983 and May 1999 to May 2007 on platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) slate.
