Arsene Wenger Finally Gets a New Coaching Job
Arsene Wenger, the legendary Arsenal manager, will make his managerial comeback for the first time since leaving the Gunners in January 2018.
Wenger is coaching a combined team made up of players from two of the Kingdom’s biggest clubs in the 2022 Riyadh Season Cup.
It’s Wenger’s first professional coaching job since leaving Arsenal after 22 years.
The Riyadh Season kicks off this month, with international entertainment festivals lasting until March of the following year.
The activities will take place in 14 different zones throughout Saudi Arabia’s capital.

The Riyadh Season Cup will be one of them, with a team of Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr players taking on European heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain, which includes Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar.
When PSG visits Saudi Arabia for the first time in the third week of 2022, Wenger will take charge of the home team.
Wenger’s role was confirmed by Saudi Royal Court Advisor Turki Alsheikh on Twitter on Sunday.
“The great international coach Arsene Wenger has been signed to lead Al-Hilal and Al-stars Nassr’s against Paris Saint-Germain in the cup,” he tweeted.
After leaving Arsenal in 2018, Wenger is now the FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development.
During his time at Arsenal, the Frenchman won three English Premier League titles and seven FA Cups, including leading the club to an unbeaten league season in 2003/04.
