APC Zonal Vice Chairman, State Organizing Secretary Dump Party

The zonal vice chairman of the , , the state’s organizing secretary, Abdullahi Mai Unguwa Shanga,  and 43 other individuals, two former deputy governors of Kebbi State, Ibrahim K. Aliyu and Mohammed Bello Dantani, have left the APC for the .

5,000 APC women have also switched to the PDP in Bauchi State. Aliyu and Kabi declared Monday at the PDP Secretariat in Birnin Kebbi, the state capital, that they had left the APC due to mistreatment and the failure of the state administration to carry out significant projects in the state.

APC vice Chairman, Organizing Secretary Dump Party, Give Reasons

They pointed out that the APC’s members no longer have faith in the party, making it impossible for the party to win the state’s upcoming general election in 2023.

Alhaji Bello Suru, the PDP chairman, welcomed them into the party and promised them equal treatment, especially when the party forms the government in 2023.

He was represented by Alhaji Bawa Kalgo, the state secretary.

He also gave them his word that whenever the party took administration, its approach to leadership would change.

The PDP’s stakeholders, including Alhaji Abba Aliero, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bunu Jega, Alhaji Garba Maidoki Zuru, and Alhaji Sani Dododo, among others, welcomed the defectors.

Fatima Mohammed, the group’s head, told Newsmen that the APC-led federal government had fallen short of its campaign pledges, among other things, free Nigerians from hunger and poverty, which had driven them to decide to join the PDP.

The PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, and other candidates for various elective positions, according to her, would all work to ensure their victories in the upcoming general election.

She claimed that 5,000 women who had defected would do the same.

The women were complimented for their insight and promised to be carried along for the victory of PDP candidates in the general election by Ambassador Imran Abdullahi Idris, chairperson of the Atiku Door-to-Door Mobilization Forum, who facilitated the defection.
