APC Stakeholders Meeting Turns Bloody As Members Fight Dirty
On Wednesday, members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) party in Kwara State engaged in a free for all battle during a meeting of stakeholders.
However, the meeting that was reportedly held in the Kwara chapter of the party that had already left APC factionalized in Kwara to find a solution to the lingering crisis turned bloody.
According to videos seen by our correspondent, party members began throwing chairs at each other, disrupting the entire meeting and the venue while damaging personal property, including cars.

Ahead of the membership validation exercise in the state, Naija News convened the meeting held at the Banquet Hall, opposite Government House in Ilorin, the state capital, but members of the two-party factions in Kwara State clashed, resulting in the violence.
It should be recalled that the crisis plaguing the APC in Kwara State recently took on another dimension when, about two weeks ago, Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni’s National Party Chairman’s Committee ordered the removal of Hon. As the state chairman, Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa (BOB) replaced him with Abdullahi Samari and BOB insisted that he remain the legitimate chairman.
Wednesday’s violence began, according to eyewitnesses, after supporters of state Governor AbdulRazaq Abdulrahman allegedly stopped Mr Bolarinwa and his supporters from entering the meeting in the Banquet Hall.
However, before other members of both factions joined in, Bolarinwa was said to have forced his way in but was allegedly attacked by a female supporter of the governor, turning it into a free fight for all.
While commenting on the incident, APC State Spokesman Tajudeen Aro claimed: “It was BOB (Mr Bolarinwa) who came into the hall with his thugs to disrupt the meeting.”
