Some angry mob on yesterday went wild in Kogi, set ablaze police barracks, over an alleged killing of a boy by a policeman in Kabba town of Kogi State.
Ejes Gist News reports that the Protests erupted in Kabba town yesterday morning following the alleged murder of a young boy by an unidentified police officer.

A team of Mobile Policemen and Nigerian Army men had been deployed to Kabba town at the time of filing this report.
The situation, according to community sources, has been brought under control.
The boy was accused of drinking a sachet of pure water from the Policeman’s car, but he later had an argument with the officer before being shot.
Yesterday afternoon, the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Egbuka, confirmed the latest development to journalists. He stated that the command was looking into the situation.
