This was revealed at a press conference conducted in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, by , the state’s APC spokesman.

Let me take this opportunity to warn you that deceptive individuals launched false information about our leader, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, on Tuesday, claiming that he had left the APC.

He has often stated that he is still an ardent supporter of the APC and that he will do everything in his power to help the Party win the elections in 2023.

Furthermore, according to Finebone, former senator conspired with state over the years to undermine the state APC.

Senibo Chris Finebone, the state’s APC press secretary, claimed that Abe left the party following many attempts to factionalize the party in order to explain the reasons behind the extraordinary exit of members.

Finebone pointed out that those from Abe’s camp who left the party were people who had been speaking and acting in ways to undermine the APC in Rivers State for the previous two years.

These individuals, led by Abe, did everything in their power to split our Party in the State. They continually colluded with the governor of Rivers State and employed some members of the state judiciary to thwart and demolish our Party through pointless lawsuits.
